Meet The Tillman Team

Allen Tillman, Founder

Allen established Tillman Companies, LLC in 2002 in order to fulfill a dream.

“I don’t use an alarm clock – I wake up every day excited about this stuff. Building isn’t for everybody, you have to have the passion.”

Allen has multiple degrees and certifications including a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction from Auburn University. Allen is a licensed general contractor and has worked as a project manager, developer, estimator, property manager, consultant, and inspector.



Eddie Savage, Commercial Project Manager

Though Eddie has extensive experience in residential new construction and renovations, he specializes in commercial and industrial building.


He’s been an integral team member on many commercial projects throughout his career as a project manager, superintendent, estimator and owner. Eddie has been involved in many large commercial projects over the years including churches, retail centers, restaurants and schools… many from the ground up and renovations. Eddie attended the UT School of Architecture and Pellissippi State.



Valerie Garner, Residential Project Manager

Valerie builds new dream homes and restores historic spaces too.

“I renovated a house on HGTV. Now what?”

Valerie has experience as a residential developer, construction and design consultant, general contractor and realtor. She has also worked with Habitat for Humanity, been a Board of Directors member of HBAGK, consulted for a DIY Network show.


Teresa Duda, Office Manager & Coordinator

She handles all of the complicated office duties for Tillman, including project coordination, invoicing, payroll and accounting, office management, and warranty management.

“I run a large adult day-care.”

Teresa Duda has 20 years years of job-site and administrative construction experience and tirelessly tracks every construction cost and receipt for every project.
